Bluegrass and BBQ
Tap your toes and fill your belly for good at our signature event, Bluegrass and BBQ!
When: Friday, April 17, 6:30-9 p.m.
Where: Bethlehem Church 316 campus (985 Hog Mountain Road, Winder)
What: Enjoy a delicious BBQ buffet from Lane’s BBQ while listening to the local legendary bluegrass sounds of The Skillet Lickers, to support the following New Path programs:
- • Weekend Food Bag Program – serves over 450 food-insecure students at Barrow County Schools every week during the school year with quality, easy-to-prepare food items to bridge the gap in nutrition between school meals.
- • Life Restoration Program – provides single, unhoused moms with school-aged children or younger with transitional housing combined with support services to lift the families and help build self-sufficiency and life skills.
back-to-school 5k and virtual 5k
Lace up your running shoes — our third annual Back-to-School 5K Walk and Run is racing up soon!
When: Saturday, August 8, 7:30 a.m.
Where: Russell Middle School (354 W Candler Street, Winder)
What: A fun, family-friendly race in support of our Weekend Food Bag Program for food-insecure students at Barrow County Schools. (And bonus: awards will be given to top qualifiers!)
